HIGH SCHOOL COACHES CLINIC

Welcome Coaches! Coach Sarkisian and the Texas Football Staff are excited to host our annual Coaches Clinic March 22-23, 2023. 

We're excited to announce our keynote speaker this year will be the Head Coach of the Los Angeles Rams, Sean McVay.

Additionally the clinic will include a dynamic lineup of some of the best coaches in the country, including our very own Texas Football Staff. 

The clinic will begin Friday the 22th in the Moncrief Football Facility. Registration will begin at 11AM during which lunch will be provided. Friday will include our coaching staff along with guest speakers. The evening will be capped off with our keynote speaker and conclude with a fish fry social.  

Saturday morning will start off with more speakers and our day will conclude with a team practice at 11AM.

Pre-Registered Clinic Fee: $65

The fee will include Friday lunch/dinner/social, Saturday lunch, snacks & beverages plus a Texas Longhorn branded notebook.


Clinic Fee for any Walk-Ups will be increased to $75. 

Parking Info:

There will be no additional charge for parking. We will send out the final parking details prior to the Coaches Clinic. 

 

FB Camp Header

The University of Texas Football Program is excited to announce our 2024 football camps this June under our Head Football Coach, Steve Sarkisian and his staff. We will be hosting 5 camps: 2 Elite: Under the Lights Camps, Big Man Camp, Specialist Camp, and the Hook'Em Horns Youth Camp. These camps will provide an opportunity for players of all positions to improve their football skill development and knowledge. We look forward to hosting you on our campus. 

More information regarding your camp can be found in the camp details section or in the FAQ section at the bottom of the page. Detailed information for each camp will be provided during online registration. 

 

All camp sessions will be held at the Frank Denius Practice Fields located at: 2405 Red River St., Austin, TX 78705

All camp registrations will close one week prior to the camp start date or once registration is full. We will not be accepting walk-ups.

June 6th & June 13th

5PM - 9PM

This camp targets skill positions, QB, RB, WR, TE, DB, SAF, & LB. (Any OL, DL, DE/EDGE positions are accepted but encouraged to attend the Big Man Camp)

This camp is for players capable of performing at a high level and who want to measure their ability while competing against other highly skilled athletes. This is a fast-paced and highly competitive camp designed for advanced players. This camp will include positional instruction and 1 on 1 formatted competitions. All participants will have the opportunity to meet head coach Steve Sarkisian and be instructed by the Texas Football coaching staff. If you are a linemen we recommend attending our ‘Big Man Camp’ for more position specific instruction. However, if you choose to attend the Elite Camp we will provide some instruction, it just may not be as in depth. 

THIS IS A NON CONTACT CAMP

June 8th

1PM - 5PM

This camp is specifically designed to help High School linemen gain more knowledge and skill at the linemen position. Our coaching staff and staff from other colleges will provide isntruationand insight for both sides of the ball. This camp will NOT have any skill position instruction. 

This camp is for athletes playing OL, DL, and Edge/DE positions, entering grades 9-12 as of the 2024-25 school year.

June 8th

9AM - 2PM

This camp is designed for those who want to improve their technique in kicking, punting, and long snapping. Campers will participate in drills and on-field instruction while receiving detailed coaching and analysis from the Texas Football coaching staff.

June 17th

8AM - 4PM

Our youth camp is designed to help young athletes gain a better understanding of the game of football. Our coaching staff will provide individual position instruction and campers will also play 7 on 7 games. This camp is for campers who are entering 3rd through 8th grade for the 2024-25 school year. This camp will take place on June 17th. This is a one day camp only. 

Be sure you equip your camper with the proper gear and hydration to withstand the heat outside. Such as sunscreen, hats, and  refillable water bottles can help your camper stay safe in the Texas heat. We will have a fully trained athletic training staff on site to keep everyone safe and healthy. Help us help your camper and be proactive to help minimize heat related illnesses.

GENERAL REGISTRATION/CAMP FAQs

  • Camp registration fees may be refundable, provided the Camp Director is notified within the timelines below. All changes must be made 48 hours prior to camp to avoid any fee.

  • All cancellations should be requested through you Ideal Logic account that was used to register. 

  • All camp registrations are completed online using the registration link located above by clicking ‘Register Now’

  •  Camps are open for registration until the camp session is full. Camps fill quickly, so we encourage registering as early as possible.

  • The items included will be a Texas camp t-shirt, exposure to numerous other colleges, and first-class instruction by the Texas coaches.

    • Clothing: Cleats, Athletic Shorts, and Athletic T-Shirt (A camp shirt will be provided upon check-in)
      • Please ensure your camper arrives in running shoes and NOT slides. 
    • Equipment: Re-fillable water bottle, and personal football related equipment (gloves, braces, towel, etc.)
    • Food: Personal Snacks (If desired)

     *Ice water and Gatorade are provided at all training sessions*

  • All sports camps and clinics conducted by The University of Texas are open to all entrants per NCAA rules and regulations. Enrollment is limited only by age, grade level, gender and capacity restrictions.
    Please contact longhornsfootballcamp@athletics.utexas.edu if you have any concerns about a campers age and/or experience.

  • The University of Texas Head Coach Steve Sarkisian oversees the Steve Sarkisian Texas Football Camps. Campers will receive instruction from the Texas Football Coaching Staff as well as numerous college football coaches from around the country. 

  • Parking information will be provided upon online registration.

  • Yes! We welcome parents/guardians to observe any camp sessions in designated areas. Visitors, including parents/guardians, are not allowed to be in areas where only authorized personnel and campers are permitted. This is for the safety of all campers in attendance.

  • Every effort is made to ensure camper safety. Campers are assigned to at least one counselor and are not permitted to leave facilities without supervision.  

    Per University of Texas policy and human resources procedures required by the State of Texas and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), each camp staff member has completed a thorough criminal and sexual offender background check and training for child abuse awareness, safety and reporting.

  • Discounts will be applied in compliance with NCAA rules and regulations. As such, the Steve Sarkisian Texas Football Camp cannot provide scholarships.

  • We are not responsible for any lost items during the camp. We do not recommend sending your camper with any valuable items that can be lost or stolen. 

  • Personal emails, text messages, phone calls, and private social media communications with campers are not allowed pre camp, during camp, or post camp.
